- Derwent have hard leads and are great for detail work, but they don't blend easily.
- Prismacolour are fantastic for blending, but many of their colours aren't lightfast.
- Luminance are overall quite good, but they're very expensive and hard to find in Oz.
- Polychromos cover all my artistic requirements, but they are quite expensive.
I tried explaining to my husband... If you're a colour pencil artist, there's no such thing as "enough". Each pencil brand I've purchased has its qualities and flaws.

They are all tools of your "trade." :) Specific tools for specific tasks. Hope you have fun with them!

That's what I tried to tell my tradesman hubby... You'd think he'd understand that. ;) LOL!
