Here is the final bonus card for my revised Viking Lenormand deck. I chose to create a Cat card as a substitute for the Dog. I personally equate friendship more so with cats than dogs (no... I don't dislike dogs, I just connect better with cats.) I figured I mustn't be the only person who feels that way, so I thought it would be a neat idea to include a kitty card as a potential replacement to the dog. Also, as it was recently pointed out to me, it ties in well with the goddess, Freya. The breed I selected for this portrait is a Norwegian Forest Cat (or Skogkatt, as they are known in their country of origin). There are some striking similarities with Main Coon cats, and I do believe they are related; Norwegian immigrants coming to America would've brought a few Skogkatts with them. |

I finally found the courage to honour and immortalize our beloved Xena in a portrait. Five years ago today, we had to say goodbye, sweetheart. Mummy and daddy still miss you dearly. Xena 1999-2012 "Warrior princess"
